BUILT Trailers Limited Warranty Statement


1. Warranty Coverage


Built Manufacturing LLC dba Built Trailers (“Manufacturer") warrants to the original consumer purchaser that its product will be free from defects in material and workmanship for the periods specified below, provided that the trailer is used under normal conditions and maintained according to factory standards.


  • Structural Warranty (1 Years): Covers the main frame, neck/tongue, and cross-members against structural failure.


  • Third-Party Components: Items not manufactured by Built Manufacturing LLC dba Built Trailers (including axles, tires, jacks, couplers, lights) are covered solely by the warranties of their respective manufacturers.


2. Owner’s Responsibilities


To maintain warranty eligibility, the owner must:


  • Register the Warranty: Submit the warranty registration card within 30 days of purchase.


  • Perform Routine Maintenance: Ensure regular lubrication of hinges, inspection of torque on lug nuts, and upkeep of braking systems.


  • Provide Notice: Notify BUILT Trailers or an authorized dealer of any defect within 10 days of discovery.


3. Exclusions and Limitations


This warranty does not cover:


  • Damage caused by overloading the trailer beyond its GVWR (Gross Vehicle Weight Rating).


  • Paint and Finish: Deterioration due to stone chips, road salt, pressure washing, or environmental exposure.


  • Normal wear and tear items (tires, brake, floorboards, bunks).


  • Modifications or repairs performed by unauthorized service centers.


  • Damage resulting from accidents, misuse, or "off-road" use not intended for the specific trailer model.


4. Remedy and Claims


In the event of a valid warranty claim, Built Manufacturing LLC dba Built Trailers reserves the right to:


  1. Repair the defective part at an authorized service center.
  2. Replace the defective component.
  3. Refund the prorated value of the trailer if repair is not feasible.


Note: Built Manufacturing LLC dba Built Trailers is not responsible for any lost profits, towing fees, storage fees, or incidental expenses incurred due to a warranty claim.


How to File a Claim


To initiate a claim, please contact your original selling dealer or reach out to the BUILT Trailers LLC with your VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) and photographic evidence of the defect.
